Shrink tape makes it easier to protect your bulky loads
“Shrink” tape is a professional term used to define a type of adhesive with a polyethylene backing and a heat-resistant adhesive. Nevertheless, this tape does not have the same characteristics as shrink-wrap and cannot be subjected to as much heat.
Our shrink tapes are available in two widths: 50 and 100 mm. The 50 mm enables the film to be held before sealing and to secure vents. The 100 mm is useful for repairing holes in the film, protecting the film from protruding parts and securing zipped doors.
These tapes can be easily repositioned in the first few minutes after they are applied, but after about 15 minutes it is very difficult to remove them.
Their adhesive works on dry and clean materials, therefore areas in contact with the tape must be cleaned to improve adhesion.
