Spare parts are those components of our products that can be changed during the life of the product due to use or maintenance. Spare parts can therefore be replaced without having to change the entire product.
At RIPACK, these parts are only available through our network of authorised distributors in over 100 countries worldwide.
There are “original” and “generic” spare parts. A spare part is said to be “original” if it has been manufactured according to the specifications and production standards imposed by the product manufacturer. They are then identical to the parts of the product sold as new and guarantee the proper functioning of the device. An original spare part can be recognised by its original packaging or by the marking on the product itself. This is the case, for example, with a RIPACK piezo igniter.
So-called “generic” spare parts are designed without necessarily complying with the specifications and standards laid down by the manufacturer. They are therefore of lower quality and less reliable than original spare parts.
The installation of non-original spare parts can damage your product. Thus, using a damaged product can be dangerous.
Genuine spare parts are a safety asset as they are manufactured using the same processes and meet the same specifications as the parts that are present on your device when it leaves the factory. They therefore guarantee a high level of safety.
With regard to the guarantee of our products, our Ripack 3000 and Ripack 3000+ shrink guns are guaranteed for 10 years. As for the Ripack 2500 and Ripack 2100 shrink guns, the guarantee is 2 years. These guarantees apply to guns sold individually or in packs (with a hose reel or trolley).
This guarantee applies to products with original spare parts. It is therefore important to use original parts and have your equipment repaired by authorised dealers to continue to benefit from this guarantee.
